I am an outsourcing expert and owner of McCarty Virtual Services LLC. MVS is a one-stop operation and business management agency for established coaches looking to outsource in their business. We exist to make them feel at ease when they are overwhelmed with day-to-day tasks in their business.
I have been working 1:1 with business owners for the last two years on how to most efficiently outsource to maximize revenue and minimize time-consuming tasks.
I was born and raised in Des Moines, IA and after many moves for my husband Alex's career, we currently reside outside of Baltimore, MD. After the 3rd move in 4 years, I decided to create the lifestyle I desired and used all the experience I had gained in the corporate world, to begin my own virtual assistant agency. Thus, McCarty Virtual Services, LLC was born in November 2018.
Hi, there! I'm Carla. I am a Social media manager based in San Antonio, Texas but moving to Houston soon! I love helping entrepreneurs and small business owners build their social media presence from the ground up or continue building their strategy so they can focus on their zone of genius! I was not always the social media guru I am now. I went to college at Texas Tech (Go Red Raiders!) to pursue a Public Health career. I quickly realized that was not the role for me and pivoted to social media!
When I am not behind my computer, you can find me taking my German Sheppard on long hikes and runs. I am also a mom to two cats, which means I am almost always covered in pet hair! I am a coffee, red wine, and travel fanatic, waiting for a post-COVID time to go back to my happy place of hiking mountains in Colorado!
I am a podcast manager and podcast launch consultant with a background in the music industry. I launched my first podcast in 2018 and began my virtual assistant journey in 2019.
After receiving several inquiries about how to start a podcast, I realized there was a gap in the market and shifted to specialize in podcasts.
Now I help entrepreneurs plan, launch, and manage their podcasts so they can focus on what matters most - telling their story and connecting with their audience.
I grew up in a large city in Nebraska. After graduating from college, I got married and found myself living on a farm. Not wanting a long commute every day, I worked various service jobs; activity coordinator, hospital secretary, and teacher's aid, to name a few.
Shortly after having my first child, I began working as a virtual assistant. As my enneagram number indicates (2), I love being behind the scenes helping and making things run smoothly.
My favorite thing about MVS: I love being able to work from home while still being apart of a team!
Besides being with my husband and 3 kids, I enjoy running and being outdoors!
I am a student at Iowa State University and will be graduating with a finance and management information systems degree in 2023. I am Meridith's executive assistant but when I am not working, I love to hang out with my friends/family and play with my pup Mav!

After graduating from CSULA (California State University of Los Angeles) 7 months pregnant and working a full time job, I decided I wanted to start my own business. I am now married with a 1 and ½ year old daughter working for myself full time.
